Head Mutations

two eyes
  • Third eye doesn't develop.

two tongues
  • Mutation that causes the forked tongue to split into two different, independently maneuverable tongues.

partial heterochromia
  • Eyes of two or three partially different colors.

full heterochromia
  • Eyes of two or three different colors

long ears
  • Abnormally long ears

fringed ears
  • Notched ears

four ears
  • Two sets of ears.

deafness
  • Partial or complete hearing loss.
blindness
  • Partial or complete vision loss.

Limb Mutations

polydactly
  • Extra toes, any limb

wing hands
  • Fully articulate hands on the wings.

Arm Wings
  • Fully articulate wings attached to the arms.

  • Webbed toes, for swimming

  • Wing membranes are characteristically pointed.

nocmyr fringed wings
  • Wings are characteristically fringed, with shaped membranes.

nocmyr glider wings
  • Wings have two or three cartilaginous spines stretching from the body, forming a glider appearance where they connect to the tail.

nocmyr kite wings
  • Wings have two long cartilaginous spines stretching from the body, forming the appearance of a kite's tail.

nocmyr blade wings
  • Wing membranes have a pointed, bladed appearance, as well as one cartilaginous spine.

Nocmyr Crane Wings
  • Feathered wings have a base of very long, trailing feathers.

oculus
  • Various eyes form on the body.

crystal growths
  • Crystalline growths anywhere on the body, in any shape, species, or color.

gills
  • Characteristic of Marine Nocmyr. Internal gills only.

overgrown claws
  • Claws grow rapidly, resulting in long, unkempt sickles. Must be trimmed.

serrated claws
  • Claws are sharp and serrated for walking on ice and gripping cliff sides.

tail spade
  • Sharp tail spade at the tip of the tail.

Decorative mutations

frillback
  • Mutation that causes some or all feathers on a Nocmyr to curl.

rex
  • Mutation that causes some or all fur or hair on a Nocmyr to curl.

locs
  •  Mutation that causes some or all hair on a Nocmyr to naturally coil into dreadlocks.

swallowtail
  • Long trails of membrane on the wings.

glasswing
  • Membrane wings, wing membranes are translucent.

scaleless
  • Exposes the Nocmyr's bare skin. Fleshy, fragile, and prone to injury.

yetism
  • Body becomes overgrown with fur.

overgrowth
  • Body becomes overgrown with feathers.

body Mutations

dwarfism
  • Achondroplasia, stunted body that is unable to continue growing past adolescence. Doesn't grow past adolescence, only reaching a maximum stature of 5' in true form, 6' in half form, and 10' in draconic form.

gigantism
  • Nocmyr develops an issue in the growth hormone producing pituitary gland, resulting in unnaturally rapid and increased growth. Reaches a maximum height of 9' in true form, 15' in half form, and 25' in draconic form

twins or triplets
  • Two or Three Nocmyr develop in the utero. Can be fraternal or identical.

Marking Mutations

Bioluminescence
  • Markings glow in the dark.

sparkle
  • Markings shimmer and sparkle in the light.

metallic markings
  • Markings have a sheen to them, resembling metal.

iridescence
  • Markings reflect rainbow in the light.

seasonal markings
  • Markings change color season by season. Markings retain the same pattern. Between 2-4 color palettes.

mosaicism
  • Nocmyr possesses more than one genetic line, resulting in clashing markings.

chimerism
  • Nocmyr twins that fused in the egg, possessing two genetic lines. Can be bilateral or random.

piebaldism
  • Nocmyr possesses a white spotting gene that removes pigment from the body.

abundism
  • Nocmyr possesses a pseudo-melanistic gene that results in dark pigment on parts of the body.

melanism
  • Nocmyr possesses more melanin, affecting the body.

albinism
  • Nocmyr lacks melanin, affecting the body.

vitiligo
  • Nocmyr progressively loses melanin over time, affecting the body.
