Return to World

Northern Hemisphere

North’s domain is a frigid continent called Eyrikeris in the northern cap of the world. It is mountainous, covered in ice and snow, and reaches negative 150 degrees fahrenheit in the winter. The sun never sets in the summer, reflecting bright lights off the ice sheets, and never rises in the winter, locking the continent in darkness. Ancient volcanoes remain throughout the mountain ranges, their magma chambers long since frozen over. The lower altitudes and outer ranges of the continent are covered in dense fir forests, while the center and higher altitudes are empty tundra. Few Gannea are able to survive in North’s domain, only sticking to the low levels of the outer mountain range, the Dianeri mountains. It boasts the Northern Lights.

Eastern hemisphere

East’s domain consists of three large continents in a semicircle shape, Aubreia, the inner, Xianli, the largest, central one, and Yurien, the outer. All three are full of mountains and unusually, the only floating islands of Siablan! While there are some regular mountain ranges, East’s domain has characteristic karsts, tall and thin mountains. The eastern hemisphere is teeming with life; animals, plants, fungi– everywhere. The floating islands of the east range in size from 5,000 square miles to the largest, Leuri, home of East, at 1.5 billion square miles. The eastern hemisphere is plagued by earthquakes, each one breaking off more floating islands. It is home to the largest population of Gannea in Siablan. East’s domain is home to thousands of medicinal and psychoactive plants, and foraging and farming are the basis of the economy.

Western Hemisphere

The western hemisphere contains the largest continent on Siablan, Vincai, as well as the two smaller ones, Scaba, to the west, and Dahexa, to the east. West’s domain is the most geographically diverse area in Siablan, as well as the most densely populated. To the north lie snow-capped mountains, below that the only active volcanic mountain range outside of the Southern hemisphere, beside it a deciduous forest, below that a desert, and to the southernmost tip, a dense rainforest. It contains rich deposits of gold throughout the domain, making West the wealthiest of the gods.

Southern Hemisphere

The smallest domain of all the gods, South’s lands are lands of extremes. The continent Zarawari is broken up into a spiral by deep, dangerous rivers with their own tides, and at its heart lie a ring of active volcanoes. To the west lies the hottest, driest desert in Siablan, reaching temperatures of 150 degrees fahrenheit by day, and to the east lies a hot, humid tropical rainforest. Much of South’s Crysalla prefer to live nomadic lifestyles, leading to few established cities. There is an eternal cyclical storm raging in the southwestern ocean called the Higrawi.

Southern Pole

The southern pole consists of a single continent, Zarasi. Once, billions of years ago it was a thriving forest, but today it’s a frigid wasteland, with life far and few in between. The sun never sets in the summer and never rises in the winter. It reaches temperatures of negative 200 degrees fahrenheit. It features the Southern Lights. Due to its extreme climate, very little is explored, let alone inhabited. It’s home to the majority of the last Presalla, godless Crysalla, and cannibals.

Ancient Siablan

The Ra’thazi’i inhabited all of Siablan throughout the Ancient Era, Totriek Raiia. The Ancient Era spans 35 million years, between 145 MYA -110 MYA. Siablan in the Ancient Era was overall colder than it is in the Modern Era, and the sea levels were lower and the continents were much larger. All of the Ra’thazi’i structures are now buried completely in ruins in the Modern Era.
